I have been deleting files and using secure emptying trash in order to make room. I need it mostly for writing and saving files in Dropbox or Google Docs. I just want a sort of middle way before I'm able to purchase a new Mac. It runs pretty slowly of late and the web browsers I've been using, most recently Firefox, no longer support the system version I now have.
